The day I received the final results of my biopsies and discovered the seriousness of my breast cancer was a tough day. Words can never describe all I felt but numb, devastated, helpless, and hopeless are a few.
When I finally calmed down enough to think, I realized that I wasn’t alone in this battle. I had my loving and supportive family and a fantastic medical team. But most of all I had the Lord, and I knew that if I were going to beat this, it was going to be up to Him.
And I knew I had to trust Him for my healing. That night, I looked up every Bible verse I could find on healing. I typed them all out and printed them on card stock. I then took all those verses and placed them all over the house – on mirrors, doors, refrigerator, the headboard of my bed, everywhere. And throughout my treatment they remained, plastered all over my house.
As I found more verses, I added them to the collection. Every time I passed a card, I read it and claimed it.
I call them my healing promises from God.
I want to share these verses with you. If you are struggling with cancer or a disease that seems hopeless, hang on to these promises from God. He is greater than any illness, and He has the power to heal you.
